Turk toplumu, maalesef, cok degerli dostlarindan Ayse Zehra Sonmez'i 8 Aralik gunu kaybetmistir. Merhumeye Allah'tan rahmet, geride kalan aile fertlerine, dostlarina ve yakinlarina bassagligi dileklerimizi sunariz. Merhumenin cenazesi Izmir Narlidere'de annesi ve agabeyinin yaninda defnedilecektir. Cenaze icin cicek gonderilmemesi, onun yerine asagida verilen banka hesap numarasina bagis yapilmasi rica olunur. Merhume icin ileride duyurulacak bir tarihte mevlut yapilacaktir.

It is with an utmost heartfelt sadness that TACA informs you of a great loss of a loved and a well-respected member of our community, Mrs.Ayse Sonmez. We wish to extend her family and loved ones our deepest condolences.  May she rest in peace.

She was Sevket Sonmez's wife Aylin and Guliz's mother.

Here is the note from Sonmez Family

"It is with our deepest sadness that we announce our loving mother and wife, Ayse Zehra Sonmez, passed away on December 8, 2009 in Madison Wisconsin. Our loving mother battled with lung disease for the past 10 years and passed away in peace with her daughters, Aylin and Guliz, and her husband Sevket by her side.  The Sonmez family appreciates your love and support and knows how much our loving mother and wife meant to each and every one of you. May she rest in peace. We will be having her funeral services in Narlidere, Izmir, Turkey where she will be buried next to her loving mother and brother. Upon return we will have a prayer/mevlut in her honor.

In lieu of flowers, we have installed a fund in honor of Ayse. Any donations made will benefit a charity. We thank all of you in advance for your donation.
