A Native of Turkey, Elif Allenfort demonstrated her substantial musical talent at an early age. She began her lifelong study of piano at the age of seven. Her precocious talent earned her early admission to the Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory in Ankara at the age of nine. Her first major performance was a concert with the symphony orchestra in Ankara, playing Mozart Piano Concerto K. 488; she was 13 years old. During her decade studying at the Ankara Conservatory, Ms. Allenfort performed throughout Turkey, appearing on stage, radio and on television. She graduated from Ankara Conservatory in 1993, earning the rare honor of being the top graduate in the conservatory and the University at large. Her accomplishments at the conservatory also earned her the distinguished “Ihsan Dogramaci Highest Artistic Achievement” award. She was one of the youngest graduates ever from Ankara State Conservatory at age 19, having finished her studies one year ahead of the usual time.
After graduation, Ms. Allenfort continued her education at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, Belgium, and later at the prestigious Queen Elisabeth Musical College.
Upon moving to the United States in 1996, she received multiple scholarships to study at Roosevelt University Chicago Musical College. She completed her Master’s Degree with honors, and was immediately admitted to Roosevelt’s Artist Diploma program where she obtained her post-graduate degree.
