The TACA Youth Committee warmly invites you to a vibrant celebration of spring, renewal, and community spirit!

Hıdırellez is a springtime folk holiday, primarily celebrated in Turkey and surrounding regions. It marks the arrival of spring and new beginnings through joyful rituals, shared food, and community gatherings.

This year, we are excited to bring the spirit of Hıdırellez to life right here in the Chicago area, gathering young professionals and families for a day filled with hope, connection, and joy as we celebrate this lively tradition together.

What to Expect:
✅ A gathering of ambitious young professionals and families from diverse backgrounds
✅ A festive, potluck-style picnic to enjoy a variety of shared dishes
✅ Traditional Hıdırellez games, live music, and surprise gifts
✅ Fun activities to celebrate spring and strengthen our community ties

Potluck Details:
🥗 This is a potluck event! We encourage everyone to bring a dish to share with the whole community — not just for your family.

🔥 You’re welcome to bring your own barbecue items if you'd like to grill!

🍕🥤 TACA will provide limited food and soft drinks.
